Odds & Ends

This may be slightly late, but saturday evening me and the girls finally made it home from our trip. It was long, and tiring, but well worth it! The girls loved spending time with their grandparents and cousins, and Peyton made new BFF's in Ryan and Kate as well. We took the girls bowling for their first time while there and they loved it! I loved having an excuse for bumpers and ended up with a pretty good score! We also did a tour of the Jelly Belly factory and it was pretty neat! Some of it was a little long, but the kids really enjoyed seeing the candy moving through the machines. Here we all are at the entrance, ready to be enlightened.

They had pictures like this all over, and it's made completely of Jelly Bellies. They had tons of different people too, pretty impressive!

I love this picture. This is my cute nephew Chase. I hadn't got a good picture of him the whole trip, he was probably a little shy around me, but he's a doll, and I love his little smile!

I forgot to write about this, but on thursday, the 2nd of October, our sweet Lexie rolled over! My other girls didn't do it till they were four months, but she's just over three, granted she hasn't done it again yet, but she still did it!

Now that we're settling in back at home and getting into our routine again, I've started to get ready for Halloween! I saw these BOO plaques on tip junkie and thought they were so cute, so I copied it and made them this morning. They were actually really easy and I love how they turned out!

I made this sign in photoshop and just painted a frame I already had, making this a VERY inexpensive decoration, just the cost of the scrapbook paper that I used for the matte.

We're almost ready for halloween, now I just need to get the costumes all figured out!

Kate, they were so easy to make, I got the letters and some round thin wood boards from hobby lobby(kinda like michaels, you should be able to find everything there.) Then just cut out the paper to size, and modge podge it onto the boards. once it's dry, sand the edges and use ink to age/distress it a little. Then just paint the letters, and use the ink to distress them a little too. Then I just hot glued the letters onto the boards. It mostly takes awhile just so everything can dry. Good luck, I think they're cute and they're cheap too!

Did you find a black shirt last night?? If not, do you want me to look through my girls bins and see if I have one?
