Things have been uneventful at our house since Lexie arrived. We don't get out hardly at all anymore, I don't have the energy to entertain the girls all day, and they're just flat out bored alot of the time. Halli tells me on a regular basis that we have a boring house. I feel bad for them that they're not loving it right now, But I have to say that I'm glad I can make it through the day on my own at this point.
There is one bright spot in every day, and thats the moment that dad walks in the door. Even though he's tired from work, he finds the energy on most days to run around and play with the girls. They love it when he gets home, and they don't stop pestering him to play with them until they go to bed.
Last friday when he got home and after we had all eaten dinner, He and the girls headed out to jump on the trampoline. I'd like to say that the girls were exhausted after that and they slept in, but I don't think that's ever going to happen in our house.:) These girls sure do adore their dad, and who can blame them, he is mighty handsome, and loads of fun to boot.:)
The sun was starting to go down and Kevin was having some fun of his own on the trampoline, so I was able to get these really cool sillhouette shots of him jumping. He looks like an acrobat!

House Tag
#3 Laundry Room:
#8 My favorite room. You've all seen it before, but here it is again. The only finished room in the house, and I love it!
Hers (and the makeshift nursery...Hence the clothes on the bathroom counter. If you look really close you can see Lexie's little head in there!)
#10 Me
OK I tag - Jamie, Allie, Aubree, Kristen and Mindy
The rules are:
1. When you read you are tagged you must stop everything you are doing, grab your camera and begin to take pictures of the listed rooms/items.
2. NO CLEANING and fixing things up.
3. Post them for all the world to see

Memory Lane
I stole this from my sisters blog & thought it would be fun, so please play along.:)
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Two Weeks Old
Lexie is two weeks old today and we had our first check-up at the doctors. She's healthy and growing, and I'm pleased to say that she is doing great! She sleeps great at night and only wakes up twice, so I've been getting some good sleep at night, and she's doing much better during the day as well.
She's already gained a pound and now weighs 9lbs 12oz, and her length somehow shrunk...hmmm, don't know how that happened, but they measured her at 19 3/4 inches. I think they may have been slightly off, but oh well. She's doing awesome and we love having her in our home. The girls are both infatuated with her, Halli always wants to hold her and Peyton just wants to steal her "pass-ear" as she calls it. Here are just a couple new pics of our beautiful baby girl!

Fourth of July
Here are just a few pictures of our fourth of July. I'm taking advantage of having my mom in town and doing a little scrapbooking when Lexie is sleeping. We had a great fourth, and spent most of the day at Grandma & Grandpa Williams house, swimming in the pool. Uncle Eric and Aunt Jill came down for the weekend too, so there was lots of family and plenty of people to entertain the kiddos for me, I've been spoiled and it'll be hard next week when everyone leaves.

The girls LOVE swimming and had a blast playing in the water and with their cousins & friends. That night we headed up to Tomball to watch the fireworks display, and Grandma Jackson stayed home with Lexie so we could enjoy the show. The girls enjoyed playing with friends, running around the parking lot, and having Daddy push them in the shopping cart. Not so sure he was a big fan of that though. Peyton was a little unsure of the fireworks to begin with but she warmed up to them quickly and continued to point them out whenever she saw them, all the way home. It was a great fourth and it was even better that we were able to have a three day weekend with Kevin home! All four of his girls appreciate that tons!

Looking Pretty
Thanks so much for all the well wishes everyone, Lexie is doing MUCH better now. She had a great night last night and we're all starting to get some sleep. She is a sweet baby and we're loving her more every day. It's very fun to see her older sisters oogle her while she's awake.
On a side note, since my mom is in town, I tend to use her when she's here and we've been working on the girls room...or she has anyway. I bought the fabric, but my master seamstress mom sewed these beautiful curtains for their room. It's just in time too, they're blackout curtains and now Halli can sleep a little later cause the sun doesn't shine in her eyes at 6am. I LOVE going in their bedroom now! Now we just need to get the rest of the house looking this good.
