How do you get to Heaven?

Last night we had FHE, and Halli did the lesson for us. She taught us about the premortal life and all that happened there. Well, Kevin and I did a little coaching through questions, but all-in-all she did really well. She also drew a picture of heaven, the earth, mars and saturn.

The earth is in the middle, and the red person on the earth is Halli. Mars is the cookie looking one on the bottom, and saturn is above that with the rings. Heaven is the blue cloud with all the red people and the green person in the middle is Heavenly Father.

Our conversation went a little like this:

Dad - So, who did we choose to follow after the war in heaven?
Halli - Jesus
Dad - How do you know that?
Halli - I just know!
Mom - you know because you have a body, right?
Halli - oh yeah.
Dad - So how do we get back to Heaven to live with Heavenly father?
Halli - you die.

I couldn't stop laughing at that one. She is right after all, we can't get there if we don't die. I love how simple their minds can be!

That's cute. How fun though to have her give the lesson.

You two are so good at taking the time to have FHE and do your daily scripture reading. Although I must admit, after our observations a few weeks ago, I wonder how much they are getting out of it, but I suppose we can blame Gwampa. You are doing so much better than I ever did.

hahaha. I love kids' simple answers. So funny. We did a really cute FHE on Sunday about the light of Christ. :) We definitely need to try having Tyler teach though that would be FUN!!

Ok that is so funny! Tyler laughed too!
We had FHE on prayer and we asked her things we could ask for in prayers and she said " That we will have a new baby soon!" I told her to keep asking but it may be awhile to get that one answered! So she said in she would ask for a Barbie House instead! Ha Ha!! Young minds are so funny!

Halli is so cute! I was telling Matt today that I miss the kiddos. We're out of town right now so it was nice to not worry about getting a sub but then again, it was fun to bring something back for the class when we went places. I love the innocence of kids!
