This is a crazy, photo overloaded post about our extended and busy halloween. The pictures aren't in order at all, and there's really not a whole lot to say except that we had loads of fun, got/ate loads of candy, and we can't wait to do it all again next year!:)
What? you thought we had 4 kids?
oh yea, the boy. He doesn't like to stand still right now, and could care less that I wanted a picture. Silly boy!:)
A super girl, a skeleton, a vampire and a princess. Quite the assortment there, and all completely cute and adorable. Exept the vampire, she was a little creepy, as she should be.
We met up with some cousins, and took a few pictures of everyone all dressed up. Quite the cute bunch they were!
Kevin even had to sneak in a picture, because as i said before, JJ doesn't like to stand still right now.
A couple weeks before Halloween, Kevin and I got to go to a costume party. SOO much fun!! We missed it last year because we had a newborn at home, but we got to go this year and it was a blast! He was obviously a Wheaties box of cereal, and in case you can't tell, I was a cereal Killer.
A few days before Halloween we had some friends over, (okay, our only friends!), and carved pumpkins, a must do every october.
I had a couple pumpkin carving kits so we were able to get pretty creative.
The older kids got really into it.
The little kids weren't into it at all and basically spent the evening outside jumping on the tramp and being eaten alive by mosquitos.
Some of the really big kids were really into it too, and they were very good at carving pumpkins might I say!
Is that not the cutest little pumpkin face ever?
Ha ha, you only thought my kitchen was somewhat clean. Thank you close-ups. This is what it really looks like when you've got three families all piled into one kitchen eating and carving and running around together.
Next we're on to Peytons preschool costume parade. Kinda fun, and the kids absolutely love wearing their costumes to school!
Sorry for the blurry one there, but she's beautiful despite that! I just love this next one, that's my smiley bubbly peyton, I adore that sweetie!
Oh yeah, we had a trunk or treat too. So much dressing up and playing, gotta love holidays!
Halli was playing at her friends house and got ready over there, so I didn't get to see her until she was all decked out at the trunk or treat. She had so much fun getting ready with her bestie!
They also had a costume parade, and that is ALOT of kids!
Look at these two little princesses, they sure do love each other!
And my sweet super girl, keeping an eye out for crime!:)
These guys kinda run in a little pack, and it's so fun to watch them all!
Here's what the front of the church looked like with the hordes of children running around. This picture doesn't even do it justice really.
Ahh, there's the lexie I know and love, sweet moody girl of mine!:)
And mr. Skeleton man, finally trapped in the back of the minivan with dad, handing out candy. Is it bad that I kinda love it when he's trapped?
Lexie brought home a HUGE haul of candy, She just kept going around and around to all the cars, and who could say no to her? She was usually with Izzy which meant double trouble, and double sweets too.
This is a Stephanie's little boy, who just sat there and stared and me then decided to just lay down on the concrete. He was an adorable little lion!
The back of the swagger wagon loaded down with kids and their candy.
This is what it's all about, family, friends, and lots and lots of sweets. At least, that's what it's about for me.:)
Halloween night we met up with the Monsons, the Monsons, (There were two monson families, I didn't accidentally repeat myself. and yes, they are related!) and the Becksteads for some crazy trick or treating. This was the only good/decent picture I got of most of the kids. They were a crazy loud bunch, but they had an absolute blast!
So there ya have it, Halloween 2011. Doesn't get better than that!

No, I don't think it does get better than that! Loved the cousin picture where Lexie was having to use all her strength to keep JJ in the picture! Such a fun Halloween time but it did look very, very busy!
