My parents came into town, (yea!!!) and got in at about 10:00 last night. They're here for a baby shower, a baby blessing, to spend some time with their 5 granddaughters, and my dad is taking care of a HUGE project for us that I've been daydreaming about for quite some time!
So they got in late last night, and by noon today, this is what we had....
A big 'ol mess in the playroom, and some holes cut in the wall.
I'm sure by looking at the picture above, you can guess just what we're planning on doing in there!
Here's what you can see through those holes in the wall.
There's still a LONG way to go, but I'm so excited to see it all happen, and even more excited that the girls and I get to hang out with grandma, and spy on grandpa's work for a week while they're here!

we've seriously been wondering what "hidden" spaces we have in our attic. My Aunt is big into looking at model homes and getting ideas. She has this very cool bookshelf that pushes in to reveal an extra room. We're thinking about trying something like that upstairs. One of these days...
