So we decided to bite the bullet last weekend and get the girls a swing set. What we weren't necessarily planning on is the amount of time it would take to put this thing together. Kevin and I aren't really the handiest of people, and when you have two little girls running around it can really hinder your progress. So every evening this week, its been family time in the back yard. Halli is basically the babysitter, as is the slide, which by the way is laying on the ground. Who knew they would have so much fun with that? Why get the whole swing set when they just wanna climb around on the slide and in the boxes it all came in? Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to post pictures of the finished product, but until then wish us luck!

Those things are so much work! I want a swing set so bad but since we are renting for awhile I really don't want to take it down in a few months! :) I really want the log playhouse from Costco, I think we are going to get that.
Ok so I want to see more pictures of you house. I need some decorating ideas and you always have cute stuff.
I was just thinking about you this morning and was wondering how the progress was coming on the swing set. :) I was waiting to call you when the girls went down for their nap. Now I have my answer..slowly but surely huh?! :) I would help, but I am SO NOT handy!! You know that! :) I could always watch your girls while you and Kevin build if that would help. Good luck! I love the swing set! Poor Brayden, I found him a little slide b/c we have NOTHING in our backyard. One day we'll get a swing set but it won't be any day soon. Let us know if ya'll need any help. Matt loves stuff like that.
i want a new swingset since our is quickly deteriorating, but the thought of building another one is a great deterant.
